(In case you're wondering, the thing I'm procrastinating on is writing a sermon. I'm preaching and presiding at worship this coming Sunday; I've preached and led services plenty o'times but just realized I've never presided over Communion. That's kind of exciting.)

Quick Britglish question: What would Giles call this article of clothing? Wiki seems to be telling me "vest," but I'd like the flist's opinion.

ETA: Research on the internets confirms that said article of clothing is a "vest." For those who loved the USian one so much, Marks and Spencer, Paul Smith make vests. This is apparently a singlet (from behind). Sometimes disturbingly young-looking girls model vests and pants in the middle of a field.

Though clothiers seem more likely to call the object in question a "vest top" when it's meant as outerwear, but I think "vest" will be fine.

But Miss Selfridge makes vests and boobtubes, and I am cracking myself up trying to imagine Giles ever calling any article of clothing EVER a boobtube.

This is a camisole, but this is a vest, per Peacocks. But you cannot see the true AWESOME of that top without zooming in on the sparklies.

A vest from Republic and, I kid you not, a hooch rosewater vest. And here's a singlet t-shirt, though it's also called a "racer back vest."

My first class was cancelled today. About seven PEGs showed up and one traditional student. It was kind of amusing. Love PEGs. Maybe everyone else has dropped the class.

I have way to much homework to do. I'm still dangling "Grace" in front of myself, and regardless I'm going to watch E2 on real TV tonight. So that'll be fun. I'm rather tempted to watch Lexx, but that would mean staying up till six in the morning, and that's just no fun without someone with which to do it. You know. It's Lexx.

I feel jittery. I want to see if the Meganperson wants to watch 'Gate with me tonight. She wasn't in her room when I called.

Gonna call gvambat again tonight too, but dunno if she's awake/alive/things like that.

And, uh, yeah. Should go do philosophy reading.
