02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Sam! I came into fandom as a J/S-hating J/D-4ever Sam-hating slasher who thought HET WAS EVIL omg. Clearly, this has changed!
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: I love EVERYONE! Except Jonas. But not everyone loves him.
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Kinsey! Kinsey! *loves evil!Republican!bastard like whoa*

Really? I remember fandom was kind of hard on Fred when the love triangle thing started happening, but I don't know if the Wes/Gunn 'shippers were mean because they were 'shippers, or just because it was (let's face it) a badly written love triangle.

Though I suppose you have a point -- Fred bore the brunt of our pissy mood, not Wes or Gunn.

And you'll never believe this, but I actually 'shipped Wes/Fred for all of... let's see... 3 episodes? I liked the pairing around the time of "Billy", but I got over it pretty quick.

*shrug* I see a lot of Fred-hate and "Gunn didn't really love Fred she was a SUBSTITUTE FOR WESLEY!" that, er, drives me crazy, as I'm big on equal opportunity "Gunn loved Wesley AND Fred... AND Angel AND Cordy and whoever the frell else you want." So literal OTP shippers of just about any pairing make me woeful because I don't get the 'X loves Z so X CAN'T love Y too" attitude.
