joy for Lent: twenty-nine

Glee:
1. Talked with the chaplain today. She's nowhere as cool as, say, Jan, for instance, but it was a nice talk.
2. Got A's on anthro and Christian scriptures exams.
3. sage_theory's post right here. Willow/Giles. And some fanfic author appreciation just for meeeee!
4. Some nifty feedback on fics. :)
5. Pizza!

Three things I did well:
1. Made it to the meeting with Pat.
2. Beta'd a couple of fics for people.
3. Made it to class!

Two things I am looking forward to doing (better) tomorrow;
1. Will write gwynnega belated birthday fic.
2. Will start finish femslash05 fic that is due... tomorrow. But I do have a fic started! Really. Actually, I have four fics started, wherein lies the problem. :)

It's quite possible. Two are BSC, and one is Buffy/Tara. (God, girl, WAY too many choices in that request of yours!) I might also be compelled to write Kaylee/Inara. *headdesk*

::hugs you:: I don't even remember much of what i requested -- though i recall it including umpteen characters. Is it karma that my Buffyverse femslash ficathon assignment is way specific and evil? (I tend to figure that more options are better than fewer options -- at least because that's my personal ficathon experience bias.)

And what is this "might be compelled"? How can you not love Kaylee/Inara? (I mean okay, you're one of those weird Kaylee/Simon shippers, but exclusivity is hardly your fannish middle name.)

Oh, I adore Kaylee/Inara. It's just I don't have a specific plot bunny for them, beyond "and they are SO WONDERFUL TOGETHER, the end."

And I am not a Kaylee/Simon 'shipper! I was given a request for one ficathon that required me to write against my inclination, but nope, not a 'shipper. Not not not.

Your request was, uh, BtVS (Buffy/Tara or Dawn/Tara), AtS, Firefly (Kaylee/Inara), or BSC (Claud/Stacey, Stacey/Janine, or Stacey/Charlotte, which of course I was dying to write, but the fic I started didn't turn out, and I think I wrecked Stacey's character in the process. But I might still revive it at some point. There will be horrific misuse of Kid-Kits. :p)

Aw, that's actually a shorter list than i had expected. Stacey/Charlotte with horrific misuse of Kid-Kits? You totally have to write that.

Actually, though I realize how it sounded, I wasn't being sarcastic. I really don't see like Kaylee/Simon. I think they're all wrong for each other and that sure, Kaylee finds him attractive, but I don't really see it on his side, and it also interferes with OTPs! (K/I and Simon/River.) And I love power differential, but the class difference sort of squicks me, especially since Simon seems really... comfortable with his class, and... yeah.

I might have to just cut out all the exposition and get right down to the dirty misuse of Kid-Kits, which is really the only plot point that actually exists in my mind. If you can really call it "plot."

Oh yeah, now that you mention it i have vague recollections of us having this discussion. So why did i think you were a Simon/Kaylee shipper? (Really, i suppose the question is: Which of my friends is a Simon/Kaylee shipper and conflated with you?) Apology.

And yes, dirty misuse of Kid-Kits. Does a story need anything else? *is jealous that she never thought of such an idea herself*
