In this interesting meta on Spike/Dru, the phrase "they're like brother and sister" keeps popping up, and every time it makes me go, "Grr!" until I realize that this is not, actually, being used as an argument against the pairing but rather convenient shorthand for one of the ways in which they relate in their quite clearly and canonically sexual relationship, and that the sibling thing is mostly set up in opposition to a parent-child dynamic.

Ah, the Jossverse. Where "they're like brother and sister!" doesn't mean they aren't doing it as well.
