Okay, better now. I bought books, I took a nap, and I went to the tutoring meeting, and I'm feeling much better.
The entity formerly known as "my roommate" will now be known as "DML," as per advice offered in comments on my last friends' only post, and the person living in my room will continue to be known as "the person living in my room."
I have homework! I can start procrastinating now!
