Done with the Tortall books.

I like them quite a bit, I think. I will NOT change my femslash08 signup, will NOT. Surely I can request Tortall at Yuletide. I do not need Buri/Thayet or Daine/Onua or Aly/Dove or Alanna/Kel or Skysong/dragon or Beka/Goodwin or Goodwin/Sabine or Aniki/Kora right away. Do NOT!... am probably fooling myself. Sigh. Peppermint Patty/Marcie, I love you tooooooo.

[ETA] OR Kel/Daine or Aly/Daine. Definitely not. *sigh* (Look at all the mentoring relationships. Look. LOOK. It's like this fandom was made for me to femslash in.)

If you ever read the Emelan books, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the canon f/f couple who take in the four kids. (That is, it's taken as canon, and confirmed by the author, iirc -- even if it's never made explicit in the text.) Also one of the kids later comes out as a lesbian.

I'm more of a het-shipper in TP fandom. Probably because I'm not a femslasher, and none of the guys strike me as very slashy.
