I am folding laundry while watching House. So I have headphones on. It's dry and I forgot to use laundry sheets, so the laundry is v. staticy.

Yeah. I just shocked the inside of my ear.

It hurt. But mostly it was just "wtf was THAT?"

That happens to me all the time. Perils of living in a really, really dry climate. I'm just always worried that one day the zap is going to damage my iPod. :)

My lab is really really dry, and I've learned to take off my headphones before taking off my lab coat or it hurts like a bitch when I get shocked. And then I have to discharge the shock by grabbing a faucet or something. It sucks.
