I realize that I can't really think of any additional things to say, as I kind of tl;dr'd in my request. There are many kinds of stories that would please me immensely -- friendship, romance, kisses and fluff or futurefic or weddingfic or kidfic or wingfic or caperfic or adventurefic or a character study or backstory or anything else you can think of.

+And my own assignment is really interesting! I think I know what I will try to write.

+I can't decide whether I should try NCIS (like in the background while attempting to write porn and/or transcribing stuff from my handwritten fanfic folder) or, since I obviously won't be able to finish it and tend not to be procedural-happy, skip it and read Princess Diaries etc. for the next couple of days. It is not like I actually have a lot of time to do anything what with doing all my last-minute family things, doing femslash_minis matchups (they will not go quite so neatly as last time, I think), and remembering all sorts of last minute things to pack.

Alas, I lack powerful coalition building skills, because I would love to see President Kristy and eighth-grade tomboy Jed. On the plus side, I do want to read the Hermione-can't-read story, which is winning (marginally).

Do try NCIS. I think you'd love Abby and Ducky, and it really isn't that much of a procedural. It's much more character-focused. And even sitting with my gen colored glasses firmly affixed, it has fantastic femmeslash subtext. It has fantastic subtext for every pairing, actually, but it actually develops its female characters, which makes everything happy.
