b. But we don't really learn a lot about him outside the extremely biased Gryff viewpoint.

d. Hmm. I was going to say the Trunchbull from Matilda but she is a bit too uncouth for him. Definitely someone with power and authority and respectability and a bit of a bendy moral compass (but not too bendy, because of the whole respectability thing). Huh. Madame X/Renfro from Dark Angel, I think.
e. Oooh. Partially I am just trying to squeeze the portrait-thing into another 'verse, because it's very cool -- but for other reasons I'd like him in the Farscape 'verse, because people with power and authority there tend to go a bit mad, and it'd be neat to see how that worked for him.

g. pass. The only songs I know are Dar Williams songs, and they are, er, less suited to Phineas than to twentysomething dreamers.

d. Xander, in this terrific crossover fic I have in my head that I will never write because it is utterly daft. (Hint: it involves a polyamory workshop of some sort.)
e. Babysitters Club. In yet another great unwritten crossover in which the Weasleys hook up (... nonsexually!) with a BSC family. And hijinks ensue, if I can think of some hijinks that don't involve handcuffs.
f. Snape. (Er. I admit I am kind of fond of this pairing, but I suspect that Ron would Not Be.)
g. Something totally cheesy and obvious and romantic. That I can't think of because, see above all I know are Dar songs.

Ron's lack of pleasure -- er, at least at first! -- would be what would make this so awesome. Thrust together by circumstances, cranky and crotchety at each other until desire took over and -- sigh, okay, I don't know why I am so excited about this pairing except the obvious, but yes. I approve.

a. Well, okay. He hits my ffkoah kink very hard. I guess because he is... stern and compassionate and incredibly capable and tends to get too emotionally involved with people under his command and is also hot like burning.

e. Hm. This is hard. Bill Adama's really one of those characters who pings me as so implanted in and shaped by his universe that it's hard to imagine him out of it. Maybe Firefly?

i. Like many of these characters, I kind of don't want to know what Adama's nightmares are like!
j. Um, keeping in mind that I've seen through the end of S1, apparently killed by Sharon. (I realize from DVD covers that this is probably not the case, but it's my answer from this point in canon and I'm sticking to it!)
