I should really go to bed now, but I am feeling a great squish of fannish solidarity and reminded of nights in college spent watching fandom_wank.

It's hard to keep up. It was at seven thousand when I got offline earlier in the evening (around 6:30) when I came back later it was over 1600 and *while I was posting about that* it jumped by 2000 users.

It's really cool watching it go up, isn't it? I joined when I saw your entry half an hour ago and it was at 17700 and by the time I'd joined it had gone up to 17760 and I just checked a second ago and it was around 18 thou. I'm off to check again in a sec.
