aldalindil: I'm spending tonight surfing the HP fandom and reading her journal from cover to cover, so to speak.


Fandoms:

The one who seduced you and fucked you over and broke your heart in a million pieces and laughed about it:
Hm.. going with Anne of Green Gables because even though I've searched high and low and then again, I still can't find Anne/Diana fic even though it's canon.

The old flame you don't see very often any more but whom you still really enjoy getting together with for a few drinks and maybe a pleasant nostalgic romp in the sheets:
Lord of the Rings

The mysterious dark gothy one with whom you used to sit up talking until 3 a.m. at weird coffeehouses and with whom you were quite smitten until you realized she really was fucking crazy: Erm, I'm going to go with Teletubbies on this one... obviously, not a serious fandom.


The one you spent a whole weekend in bed with and who drank up all your liquor, and whom you'd still really like to fuck again although you're relieved she doesn't actually live in town:
Sherlock Holmes --and there's still hope that we might get back together

The steady:
Stargate SG-1, and if you don't know that, you clearly haven't been paying attention.

The ex: . I've got a collection, but then, being a lesbian, it's my job to have a collection of ex-girlfriends and love triangles and things like that. So: Lord of the Rings, Sherlock Holmes, Anne of Green Gables, As Time Goes By, and of course, Clueless, which is probably more of the "obsessed with at 3 AM variety, but wasn't actually a fandom since I didn't really meet fandom into my roommate--then just my friend--rambled about her Andromeda messageboard for hours on end. Anyhow.

The alluring stranger whom you've flirted with at parties but have never gotten really serious with:
Let's call this one HP, though that's subject to change.


The one you hang out with and have vague fantasies about maybe having a thing with but ultimately you're just good buddies 'cause the friendship is there but the chemistry ain't: Andrew Greeley's universe. I would so be in the fandom, but there isn't one. *sigh*

The one your friends keep introducing you to and who seems like a hell of a cool gal except it's never really gone anywhere:
Andromeda


The one who's slept with all your friends, and you keep looking at her and thinking, Her? How the hell did she land all these cool babes?: Trek

The one your friend has fallen for like a ton of bricks and whom she keeps babbling to you about on the phone for hours, and you'd be happy for her except you just know it's going to end badly: Farscape. *comforts roommate who still fails to believe the show has been cancelled*
