Here there be spoilers!

Okay, can't think of anything to say at the moment. I am so exhausted and my brain hurts. I miss Jeane. Yes, this is a complete and total non sequitur except that it's not, really. I didn't cry at the character death, though. I sort of unfortunately wasn't very fond of Sirius from reading fic and even though I liked him fine, he wasn't my favorite. But relationships like that, sort of pseudo parent-child, always always always get to me. I'm more upset than I would have been if that weren't there. And for the first time, I can feel sympathy with Harry. He's virtually nothing like me and that made it hard to really like him, but now... the last chapter... I can't believe there's character death, though. It took me several minutes to wrap my brain around "oh my God, she actually killed him." She didn't in the first three books, and then Cedric dying was... wow. *worships JK Rowling* Farscape is a show that doesn't flinch away from killing of members of the main cast... and they always go down fighting, like Sirius did. JK Rowling really reminds me in places of David Kemper, the exec producer of Farscape. This isn't a bad thing, by any means. And, um, let's see. I was reminded for no reason of Marvin dying. I was left with the same sort of feeling. But I didn't cry, which disappoints me. It's been way, way too long since I've cried over a book...

I was glad she didn't make Snape evil. He's so much more interesting when he's not, and I'm glad we got a peek into his past. Ambiguity is good.

Random pairing stuff: James/Sirius, Lupin/Sirius, for sure. And because I am a sucker for chanslash: Snape/Harry and Sirius/Harry, in a weird sort of way. I felt sorry for Sirius and can't help but seeing this rather pathetic UST deal... but that's probably just me.

Um. Other thoughts. If boys are really as clueless as Ron and Harry, then I'm seriously glad I'm not straight. Umbridge, bitch that she was, was an excellent sadist. I hated her with a passion. Ow.

I feel the urge to go find LJ communities devoted to pairings involving Sirius and see what sort of reactions they had.

The irony of it all. The IRONY. Harry didn't notice, at least I don't think he did. But god is that depressing.

Minerva, Fred and George, Neville, Ginny, Hermione, Ron, Dumbledore, Flitwick, and Trelawny all kicked too much ass.

Moody is awesome.

I should really go to bed.

ps: Sumita, if I could see your response, that would be really awesome. love.
