That was some pretty good TV! What it really needs is Allison Janney, and then it would be entirely perfect.

I had instant-character-love-that-just-PINGS for Suzanne. From seeing her back, I was like, "Yes. MINE." So I probably can't explain rationally why. Energy. Spaz. Awkwardness. Awesome. (I see at least from IMDb that she's not actually a real character. FOR SAD. I can tell her apart, therefore she is win.)

I was pretty unimpressed with Jordan.

Danny Timothy Busfield's character Cal was pretty awesome, but I would've expected that, so less win. Still, pretty awesome.

I really like Harry. I'll be really interested to see how they Sorkin negotiates her Christianity. (And how long it takes before something she does makes me start flailing.)

But yes. In all seriousness, I think I will just be coming along for the ride with the rest of fandom (I'm not wrong about this, am I?), because Matt and Danny are MADE OF LOVE. So. SO. SOMUCH.OMG. And then there was touchies, because with the heterosexual life partners and with the. Just. ACK. Sigh. Happy!

(Plus, so nice to have more Brad Whitford.)

BUT I still wish there were Allison Janney.

I really wanted to see that, but I had a borderline astronomical amount of work last night. Glad to hear it's good, though!
