2. What fandom crossovers, if any, do you like to see in your fanfic? I tend to steer away, but I will read some of the most obvious ones: SG-1/tS or BtVS/HP

3. What are your favorite pairings and why? I don't think I really need to break out this list again... J/D, D/S for 'Gate, Scorpy/Braca and Scorpy/John and John/Aeryn for 'Scape, Max/Logan, Willow/Oz, Willow/Tara, Willow/Giles, Buffy/Angel, etc., etc.

10. Hurt/comfort, angst, romance, AU. What is your favorite category/type of fic? First-time. I'm a sucker for first time.

11. Describe the ultimate fic, how it makes you feel, what it must have, etc. Dr. Jackson's Diaries. Smart, funny, (more in-character would be good), long, with some adventure but mostly on-world, first-time, angst, happiness, goopiness, hot sex, sadness, mentions of Sha're, original team, references to canon, easily read, good old-fashioned escapism


The semester is over. Exams start on Monday. I bought a Blue Book today for my women in philosophy final. If I wanted to meet the Meganperson, I'd have been there ten minutes ago, but I'm tired and will go to dinner late and eat quickly and come back here and tell myself I'm a good person.

Reading Buffy fic, I'm finding myself drawn to characters, more than pairings. And my characters are Giles, Willow, and Oz, so any combination thereof (except threesome. *headdesk*) makes me happy. Surprisingly, I'm finding more and better Giles/Oz than Willow/Giles. What is it about fandom's bias against het?

The first Buffy ep I saw was the one where Giles's girlfriend, Jenny Calender, dies. Have to admit, my one true pairing for a while was Buffy/Giles, although Willow/Giles would be really damn cute too.

I fully expected I'd be a Buffy/Giles 'shipper, but somehow it just doesn't do it for me... possibly it's the unfondness for Buffy and the over-fondness for Giles.

Yeah... my interest in Buffy/Giles waned pretty quickly too. Probably it was because Buffy was going around all, "Angel, Angel!" all the time.

It didn't take long for Faith to become my favourite vampire slayer. :)
