house - "Forever"

[spoilers]

Cuddy wants a baby? What?

Also, all the principals should really just sleep with each other and get it over and done with. Cuddy/Wilson/House. So hot it's practically canon.

No, really, she wants a baby?

I thought I recognized both the main guests, but IMDb reveals nothing (though the boy was in But I'm A Cheerleader.)

I got a bit teary when the mum was sobbing over the dead baby.

I am not caught up on VMars and have no idea when I will be. I'm now three episodes behind. I suppose I'll attempt to catch the end of the season when it's re-aired in the summer - apparently they're starting again with "Normal is the Watchword" on May 16. If you suspect that you won't be spoiler-cutting, let me know. (It would be extra nice if you did spoiler-cut, of course, but either way, I'd like to try to go into the final arc unspoiled.)

And now, more tWW. This particular stretch of S5 has been pretty excellent. I loved "The Supremes" and "Access" and I love what I've seen so far of "Talking Points."

I thought I recognized the girl, too! But I have no idea from what.

She reminded me of Claire from Six Feet Under, but she wasn't.

Hilary Tuck was on the NBC Saturday morning show Hang Time. God, it's sad that I know that. The guy was Kip Pardue.

I clicked on this accidentally (having not seen the ep I obviously don't care) but I offer tv.com as another source for guest star identities.

[And since I *did* click on the cut ... Cuddy wants a baby? *stabs the writers* 'Cause being my non-baby-wanting self I always hate seeing that come out in women -- though it's palatable if it actually feels organic to the character, which of course this doesn't; see also my wtf to Bailey in Grey's Anatomy.]

[Also: "principals" not "principles"]

Oh, wait, I did have a purpose for clicking on this post; I lied. Have you been taping VMars? [I'm guessing no if you're mainlining West Wing but not catching up on VMars.] 'Cause a friend of mine burned eps to DVD for my parents when they missed one, so I could ask her about doing the same for you since I know torrenting's not an option for your dial-up-having self.

Cuddy wants a baby? What?

Yeah. That got a big the HELL? from me too. But, I can sorta twist my head and see it. I think it's because I'm rewatching all of S1 of House (which was my fabtastical b-day present) and House says that the hospital is Cuddy's baby.

And after the whole Vogler thing and how her beautiful hospital went down the drain and became Vogler's plaything, I think she might have realized that her ambitions had lead her to an empty place.

So that manifested itself as a need for a child, I guess. I also suspect, there's going to be discussion of Cuddy's biological clock ticking away somewhere.

Hell, they've already discussed her panties. A lot.

And if House ends up making a baby with Cuddy? I dunno...

I'm kinda intrigued where this is going.

Sadly, I will admit to recognizing the girl from the TV Series of "Honey I Shrunk The Kids". DON'T JUDGE ME!

Not sure about the guy, though he does look a bit like Emmet from QAF.

Had some thoughts on the pregnancy thing, based on spoilers (*is spoiler queen*) here. *g*

I'm curious about Cuddy wanting a baby. That storyline could be done very well or very badly. We'll see!

Cuddy/Wilson/House. So hot it's practically canon. Yes! Very true.

Also, that should be a crack!fic. The three of them have sex, Cuddy gets pregnant with a baby that is magically both Wilson and House's, and they all raise the child together.

*rereads last paragraph* I should go to bed now.

Ha! I can just imagine Cuddy and Cameron working out a schedule of who would wake up to feed the baby on which days, etc. Then they would get in a fight over some detail. The fight, over course, would end in kissing and then sex.

Now I want Cuddy/Cameron. Why isn't there more Cuddy/Cameron? Why don't I have a Cuddy icon?

*snerk*

Oh, and Cameron TOTALLY gets stuck with all the 2 AM feedings (Cuddy: "I gave birth. You owe me.") -- at least until she starts falling asleep in the lab. Which is how House finds out, because they're being terribly stealth about it otherwise.
Is it bad that I can totally imagine this?

Of course, I am equally dubious about "but she's a WOMAN! Of course she wants babies!" storylines -- but still.

[livejournal.com profile] amaresu called Cuddy wanting to have a baby. So it wasn't that off.
