[spoilers for VMars 1.22 "Leave it to Beaver"]
1. Concerning fandom crossovers, which fandoms do you really want to see crossed over with each other that haven't already?
My favorite crossover is BuffyversexFirefly, but fortunately that one's been done a lot. I also love GateversexWest Wing -- they're not strictly compatible universes, but the idea of Sam Carter, Elizabeth Weir, and CJ Cregg inhabiting the same fanspace is so awesome that I don't care about continuity.
I have in my head an idea for a free-form AU-verse called Californication that would involve all the California high school fandoms - BtVS, VMars, and CA Diaries [and others that I'm not actually a fan of] -- at some sort of all-state mixer (perhaps several sorts. There could be MUN. Forensics. Field hockey. The possibilities are endless!
2. Keith/Veronica. Could you explain your fascination with this pairing? (Not that it's needed, obviously, but still ;p)
Wow. That's a pretty complicated thing. I mean... I think Keith+Veronica is really wonderful and have since the first episode or so. I really admire Veronica's loyalty to her father, "the hero is the one who stays," and the way Keith simultaneously wants to protect her and is so very proud of her and how she's growing up to be Just Like Him. I love that Keith struggles so much to be a good father and that in some ways he falls horribly short because he so much enjoys her being an adult - snarky, smart, and independent. I love that Keith needs her so very much and simply doesn't want to let her go.
I didn't start 'shipping this incestuously until the last episode of S1, when Keith told Veronica that he was her biological father and they immediately started snogging on the couch. I mean... well, okay. That's pretty much exactly what I mean. When I saw that episode, it was my last week of college and I was feeling pretty blah and uncertain about my future, and I didn't really have the ability to resist the pairing... in that, it was very much a comfort-pairing for me, something so completely self-indulgently wrong that it was exactly what I needed that week. People falling in love with each other even when they know they shouldn't, people being unable to resist the attraction between them even though they're damning themselves... these are definite fic!kinks of mine, and give me good shivers.
There are definitely other factors at work in my fascination with them, but I'm not sure I want to examine themright now ever.
3. What's the most embarrassing thing that's happened to you?
I point you towards Coming Out: A Cautionary Tale part 1. [flocked] (Part 2 is equally humiliating, but I haven't written it up online.
4. Did you go to your high school prom? Did you go to any high school dance besides the prom?
Since I was a junior in college when my high school prom happened, no, I didn't. I didn't go to any dances at high school, in fact, but I did go to one in middle school (the eighth grade dance, to which everyone went, including yours truly, loner+geek+secretly gay) and a few in college -- Gvambat and I (who weren't dating yet) made a brief appearance at the PEG Valentine's dance freshman year and stole cookies, and I was forced to attend a Halloween dance my junior year, which was fun until the boys showed up, which was when I left.
5. Recommend the kinkiest piece of fanfiction you've read.
I've made my partner-in-crack,
sage_theory write me lots of kinkfic, including Shines Like Destruction (SG-1, Jack/Daniel), which is just amazing.

Yes. That. Exactly. I think I'll go watch the couch scene, too...
