And it's Xander Harris, listening to his parents' drunken railing about the snobby, elitist, immoral Chases. And it's each child vowing never to have anything to do with that kind, never doing anything to make their parents as angry as the people down the street do.
"Sane, Sensible, Sober" is Buffy/Giles first time fic, in which Giles, drunk and a little bit despairing, is convinced that he wouldn't really be attracted to Buffy if he were sober, and in which Buffy, less drunk than she seems, knows better.
"Free In Three, Four, Five" is BSC fic, the last day of high school, in which they tie up loose ends before the final bell frees them from Stoneybrook forever. In which there are pranks, mayhem, declarations of undying friendship, enmity, and love, and a stolen first kiss in the bathroom. It's mostly a Kristy/Mary Anne fic, but everyone makes an appearance.
