Well, I wrote my second short story today in a burst of creative energy. I really just feel like kicking back and writing fanfic. Of course, most of my plot bunnies for fic are depressing, too, but as my roommate says, the really nice thing about writing fanfic is you've already got a universe and characters laid out for you--you don't have the very difficult task of creating complex, interesting characters--you do have the task of bringing the well-loved, complex characters from canon to your story, though.

I didn't have class today, which was really nice. I'm still not thinking about the fact that school is going to be over really, really soon, or the fact that I still don't know where I want to live, or the fact that I'm not going to see the ministerpeople for four months. Four. Months. This is way, way, way too long.

I seriously just want to have fun. I want to see my friends from NJ, go to my old church, go to St. John's, of which I am a member... yesterday they had a consistory meeting after church so while I waited for my ride, I sat in the sanctuary and listened. And they were talking about all these plans: Anniversary Day, and picnics, and Pentecost, and... I'm not going to be here for any of it. I am seriously going to do my best to stay here next summer. Rent an apartment, get a job, and not have to cope with any of it.

that is indeed the beauty of fanfic. im way too lazy (and busy) to create complex characters and situations. i like to steal someone elses and have my way with them! ;o)
