Sans the incest this time, because the lack of scenes together. Only, "When your dad was in trouble, you took it lying down," and "Veronica had the chicken pox so I stayed home." Awww.
And all this time, I thought Keith was straight, and it turns out he has a flaming man-crush on Jackie's dad. The what? Keith is totally the best part of this show. He's so... he's so. I love him. I love him. I love him. *dies*
The A-plot with the carnival, however, made me go bzuhhhh what? What happened? I mean, I think I followed the arc, but... why?
I neither liked nor disliked this episode, because I kept on waiting for something important to happen, and nothing did. Let's see:
+Dick almost had sex with a man. Hee. That Mac and Cassidy, such hams!
+Mac/Cassidy (or Mac/Beaver, whichever we think sounds gayer) is still totally confusing, but Mac is adorable.
+Logan had something resembling chemistry with a giggling personality-less fangirl named Hannah. I'm excited, how about you?
+Veronica and Weevil had ST. (Doesn't really feel unresolved to me, just... ST.) Cute!
+Roller coasters=the awesome.
Um, the end?
ETA: Oh yes, I nearly forgot how suddenly Jackie is not totally sucktastic anymore and how Wallace being sweet to her (despite having random love chemistry with what's her name) is truly awesome, but excuse me, since when is Veronica/Jackie the OTP? Where's the old-skool S1 Wallace+Veronica love?
