joy for ordinary time
Sep. 25th, 2005 06:06 pmGleee!
1. I get to go to bed in a few minutes and can sleep for hours and hours and hours. *exhausted* I took a nap ealier; it felt wonderful. And really, best of all in all of this is that I'll get to sleep without insomnia and fretting. Or whatever. But sleeeeep! in just a few hours.
2. I talked to my girlfriend for a few hours last night. <3
3. West Wing S4 is still love. "The Long Goodbye." !!!
4. Pretty church music this morning.
5. My wonderful geeky father. We spent this afternoon watching the games on the internet, and so there was a rain delay in Chicago around the time the Yankees game was over and the Sox game in the bag, so my dad checked the weather in Chicago to see how much longer the delay would be. I <3 my father.
6. (BONUS!) Baseball... mmm... magic number is 8 (of course, the Yankee's magic number is also 8, but whatever!) and the season is off to a rousing ending.
Three things I did well today:
1. Didn't nap this afternoon, mostly, thus attempting to get sleep schedule back in line.
2. We went grocery shopping.
3. We got the laundry started.
4. (BONUS!) I helped the kidlet study for her French test.
Two things I am looking forward to doing (better) tomorrow:
1. Writing fic for
swficathon.
2. Waking up by nine.
