2. My father, sister and I just played an exciting game of Pit.
3. I had a really good conversation with my dad earlier. I don't even know about what; it was just nice to talk and be understood and to share ideas.
4. We went to the bookstore and they were playing some Simon+Garfunkle Best Of Compilation. Mmm, shiny music!
5. West Wing S4 is LOVELIKEWHOA. I've seen through the "Election Night" teaser and OMGOMGOMG! It's just amazing, how much I love this show. I mean... amazing. I knew that "Debate Camp" was going to be awesome because what could be cooler than all of them secluded in one room, prepping for debate? And then it turns out to be a flashback episode, and I love the WW flashback eps, and eee! Curly-haired CJ stressing about her press conferences.... That was just amazing. And Danny! She mentioned Danny! And the shipper in me went, "Squee." End. Of. Story. And let's see... Team Toby! <3<3<3 And... let's see. Then we went to "Game On," which was utterly frabjous. I just... I ADORED. Abbey snipped his tie! They totally played Toby in the teaser; that was wonderful. And President Bartlet just... *woah.* But as always, their reactions are even better. Josh's over-the-top YES, CJ's disbelieving "OMG," Toby's "That's not Mr. Fluffy." EEEE! And then, "Let's NOT spin this." And the Republican China expert? "You're the one I like." "You're the one I like, too." Awww. MELTMELT. Oh, yeah, and a thing from... whatever was before "Debate Camp." The one with the Rock the Vote? Where CJ's all, "Dude, get out and vote." She made me tingle. If CJ were press secretary, I would be pwned by the US gov't, totally. pwned I say. Anyhow, "Game On" was fabulous, possibly favorite episode ever. Total squeeage. (Plus, Bra'tac! Which meant I couldn't take that plot seriously at all because dude! Bra'tac!) And now the election and... oh I can't wait to watch it.
Three things I did well:
1. I sacrificed the last hot dog to my sister.
2. I spent not the money at the bookstore.
3. I went to bed before watching "Election Night." Last night, anyhow, but since it was at five in the morning, it counts as today. And as soon as I'm done here, that's where I'm headed. :)
Two things I am looking forward to doing (better) tomorrow:
1. Finding gleeeee! at church
2. Getting plenty of sleep that is not daytime!sleep.

Date: 2005-09-25 12:34 pm (UTC)Mmmmm, season 4 ... I'm kinda a heretic here, because most of the WW types who watched it as it played say that S4 is less good than the previous seasons, but I *love* it. And 'Debate Camp' through 'Election Night' is totally my favourite arc.
Abbey snipped his tie!
Ohhh! The little cackle when she cuts it, and Jed's face! *loves*
They totally played Toby in the teaser; that was wonderful.
His face!! And also CJ's laugh, which floors me every time. And Sam's just standing next to her, trying so hard not to laugh. They are the love. :)

Date: 2005-09-25 01:44 pm (UTC)I dunno; I think I got my headspace/energy wrong... I adored "Debate Camp," and "Game On" was possibly my favorite ep of the series, but then "Election Night" was the... downbeat when I was on an upbeat, and then the next couple kind of left me bored, but then "Arctic Navigation" came, and then "Holy Night." Yes. I think we know how I reacted to that. *dies*
What're your thoughts on Will?

Date: 2005-09-25 02:51 pm (UTC)Those two - ouch. My poor, lovely, judgemental Toby. And also one of the few times I have wanted to hug Josh *so* hard. And the "we don't know each other, but there aren't that many people I can talk to about this." I'm just crying all the way through the end of that ep.
Hmmm. Will.
Well, at first I liked him, and I *wanted* to like him because Sam did. He's snarky and dorky and kinda Jonas-like for a while but then he loses his shinyness - but that is, for the most part, in season 5. He *can* be adorable - like the bit when he summons the rainstorm? He does a fair few things like that. But I am usualy left with a 'yes, but he's not *Sam*' feeling.
And also, not as pretty. *sob*
