I see a woman who is very unsure of herself in these new circumstances, because she really hoped that the expedition would be a cakewalk and instead finds against all odds challenges, but who can't let that uncertainty show.

Yes see that? Is why I love Weir. Oh yes.

I love Weir because she is in over her head, and trying so hard, and it shows... but I suppose that's why some people don't like her? Because she isn't good at her job, and doesn't always make the right calls... *sigh* But I love her oh so much. :)
