(no subject)

I have two ficathon fics due on Wednesday, which is also the day I Start My Jobhunt. So, yay?

I bought The Lost Slayer, a BtVS liscenced novel fanfic thingie today. About a quarter of the way through. I think I like it better than Pretty Maids All in a Row, although the plot took a REALLY long time to get started. I also stared at DVDs in the bookstore and considered buying but didn't: S1 of Full House, S1 of Manchild, a special on British TV comediennes, including Patricia Routledge and Judi Dench and the woman who plays Alice on Vicar of Dibly, various Farscape sets, various nu!Drom sets, um, should I stop? If when I get a paying job, it will be even harder to remember not to treat myself to DVDs regularly.

Anyhow, Beckett fic is brewing and hopefully the Jack/Daniel fic will write itself.

We went to visit my Nana again today. I love my Nana but visiting her is hard. She's old and confused and sad, and it breaks my heart.

We went out for dinner tonight. I worry about my family and money. I never used to. But my parents are worried about money and therefore so am I.

So far, I don't like this adulthood thing.

Love you all,

Ari

I'm glad I'm not the only person I know who would consider buying Full House DVDs.

Yeah, adulthood, not so fun...though I get to avoid the "real job" thing for a bit longer, so perhaps I shouldn't talk. I <3 you though, and pray for you. :)

Adulthood bites. Yes.

Count me in with the squee! I love The Lost Slayer. Hands down the best novelisation there is.
