So in preparation for writing the BSC ficathon fic that's due, uh, today, I (re)read Portrait Collection: Mary Anne's Book.
and it kind of made me cry.
What? It's the good daddy thing. I love good daddies. Richard Spier is wonderful. Plus the dead mommy thing. (Although I'd forgotten her name was Alma. What kind of name is Alma? No offense to anyone on the flist who's named that.) But oh my goodness, I love Mary Anne! So anyhow. Will work on the fic tonight and post it eventually and then try to get the Beckett fic written too and uh, me, overcommitted? Surely you jest!
Speaking of, anyone available for writing backup for the OT3+ ficathon? I've had a drop-out.

Date: 2005-05-30 01:35 am (UTC)It's a Greek name I do believe, and in Greek "alma" means jump. Modernized, however, the name Alma means "nourishing" in Latin or "the soul" in Spanish. There is also the Alma Motter in schools, but I doubt that's helpful at all.
Sorry, I'm feeling rather lethartic and sarcastic today. Lack of sleep is probably the reason why. :/ But on the side note: major squeeage for BSC!!
