The Secrets & Shame Meme

1) Which actor do you secretly think is a hottie? I have no secrets in this arena, do I? Although I suppose there's the embarassing love-hate relationship with the Olsen twins. Though I don't find them hot, not even all grown-up. Speaking of Full House, though, Bob Saget, who played Danny? Quite pretty. Oh yes. But that's not shameful, is it? Joss Whedon, though he's not an actor.

2) Which singer musician do you secretly lust after? Pretty much just Dar, and that's neither secret nor shameful

3) The TV show you secretly loved? Two of a Kind, the Olsen twins TGIFriday show that got cancelled after a season. Man, I'm not kidding. I still want to know how the cliffhanger came out. Also, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, also TGIF, and oh. I was a Barney and Friends baby from way back (though stopped watched once Kathy and Shawn grew up and were the *oldest* kids. That never seemed right to me. And I tolerated Baby Bop but BJ was beyond me. Er.

4) Which horrible movie did you love anyway? Does Clueless count? What about Gone With the Wind? Does it count if I want to defend GWTW from its naysayers? Also, Matilda, which isn't horrible but,as previously established, does horrors to the original.

5) Which really bad song do you secretly love? This is easy. "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion. I hate it. I also can't bring myself to remove it from the playlist. It's just such good crack.

6) That thing you are ashamed you were too scared to do? Er, I'm really bad at asking for food in the dining hall, so if I can at all help it, I'll chose food to which you help yourself.

7) The thing you were to afraid to ask your parents? I was pretty shameless when it came to asking them incredibly invasive personal questions, but apparently I'm too afraid to ask them about going to see Serenity next week. I don't think that's gonna happen.

8) The sappy secret pet name you gave someone/something? Does it count that I connived such that one of our birds was named after my eighth grade math teacher?

9) The thing you did in the name of fandom, that you are embarrassed to admit? I wrote badfic. Obviously, we've all done this, but seriously, I am ashamed of the fic I wrote. (But tangentally, I found my Flowered Notebook from ~6th grade. Ohhhh, it's absolutely hilarious. The writing is SO BAD! Not to mention the incredible morbidity of much of it. I giggled madly through it, which shames me, since I always promised to respect my former self but... last wills and testements hand-written at age 12 ought to be giggled at.)

10) The really big secret that no one knows, but you wish they did? Don't have one, I don't think.

11) Someone you *really* want to see do this meme? Let's go with standard answer number 2 and say [livejournal.com profile] sage_theory.

Hee! Do you want to hear my Olsen twins story? I don't have any of my own, even though they are attending my alma mater, but I nicked one from [livejournal.com profile] vagabond_sal.

Also, I have both Titanic soundtracks. ;) Although I see that I only have the second one ripped on my computer. I must remedy this immediately.

Okay, so Jeff was in the Tisch School of Arts building, where his friend was showing him a film that he was working on. It was about 10:30 PM on a Tuesday. They were accosted by a drunken Olsen twin who asked him where she could find a microwave to reheat her burrito.

Jeff stuttered that he didn't think there were any microwaves there, and he says that she looked at him as if he had personally removed all the microwaves to stymie her. His friend volunteered the idea that perhaps there was a microwave in the lounge in the basement, and the Olsen twin thanked him profusely and then stumbled off on the arm of a person of the male persuasion, while Jeff and his friend boggled at each other.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is my (stolen) Olsen twins story.

Clueless, Gone With the Wind, Matilda

There is absolutely no way that any of those count as bad movies. Sorry.

Sandy loves "Sabrina." I avoid the living room every day around 5:00 because it irks me.

As for "My Heart Will Go On"... I have a cover of that song in Italian, as sung by Sarah Brightman. Do you want it?

I'm going to have to agree with [livejournal.com profile] alixtii, that neither one of your movies you've listed are incredibly horrible or bad or even shameful. My film professor said that Clueless is a cult classic of the 1990's, and Gone With The Wind is pretty much adored by many in the film industry (as far as studies shown, anyway). For Matilda, even though the movie was exactly like the book you kinda have to respect it for that. Book-to-film adaptations aren't necessarily meant to be replicas -- to which I shall state that I loved and still love the Matilda movie. Only because I watched it over and over and over again, but that's just me....

"My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion

Don't get me started on how many times I played that particular song after watching Titanic. I even have to Italian version of that song (well, technically my sister does). I know, I am bad.

P.S. - I tried E-Mailing you about the demise of [livejournal.com profile] go_pirates that you'd left a comment about, however my e-mail isn't sending anything I try to put out. I tried to reply to one of my closest friends and it still won't take it. Yes, I have a very stubborn and odd computer at times. :/
