Eep, femslash ficathon due tomorrow! It is half written, but, uh, yeah. Let's see. Tomorrow is the Femslash PWP. Saturday is the Buffy/Giles. Next Monday is the Kink/Cliche and the xgenchallenge. Then I've got a couple days' respite, then with_character and the BSC ficathon and the Beckett ficathon and... I think I know what I need to be doing with my vacation, and it's not marathoning VMars or reading Emily of New Moon.

Matt Pascerella, from Old First, who was a year or two older than I am, died in a car accident. This news is of the uncool.

Got to talk to gf last night on the phone; that was cool. And Emily of New Moon has delicious age-difference-y het. Rawr.

Emily of New Moon is such a wonderful book. Do you read a lot of L.M. Montgomery? The Story Girl is my favorite.

I'm an Anne girl from way back (well, from around the time I was ten) and have read those books... more times than I can count. I have several others, and love Emily and Magic for Marigold and some of the collections of shorts, but Anne will always be my girl. :)

I love Anne as well. I grew up close to the Canadian border and we got the CBC TV station so I used to watch Anne of Green Gables and the Road to Avonlea all the time. Wonderful universe of characters.
