may term, odds and ends

The problem with my May Term class is that it requires way more energy than I have. Like, way more. Because it's very participation-focused, lots of skits and story-telling and group participation, and tomorrow we're doing Who's Line Is It Anyway style improv which is causing me massive twitches of anticipation, and not the good kind. Okay. It's not entirely lacking in fun. It's just so constant. Having to up up three hours a day, five days a week. Eesh. Still, yay weekend, in which I must REVISE MY THESIS OMG and write the three ficathon fics that are due on Monday.

On the bright side, I'm getting an A in the class even before the lowest quiz grade is dropped, and so that's good. And, uh, I got some sleep between 6 and midnight... and it's the weekend tomorrow... and ah yes! I finally sent out assignments for the OT3+-a-thon. *preens*

Dunno if I should do the reading now and then sleep till class tomorrow or assume as I have the past two days that I'll manage to wake up in time to do the reading at a decent time rather than hurriedly skim it ten minutes before class like I've actually done the past two days. (Damn. That sentence was a lot more witty and grammatical before I tried to write it.)

The BSG mini was on Sci-Fi tonight and I'd intended to watch it, but I slept instead.

I did my duty via House MD and Veronica Mars. I feel very virtuous, in an illegal sort of way.

I also deleted all but two of the remaining episodes of Farscape from my computer. I'm down to about a gig of space. I really must decide whether VMars and House are really worth keeping around.

I'm very tired and possibly slightly feverish/sick. Might arise from never sleeping, ever.

Re: episodes and disk space—can you just burn the files to CD? That's what I do.

Theoretically, but my CD burner is sort of bitchy and also, it's not in my computer right now. (I didn't have room for the CD burner and a DVD player, and the DVD player won out.) So it's kind of problematic.

Hee! Very varied! It's not actually a theater course; it's technically an anthro class, Ancient Myths and Modern Legends, but a lot of the learning style is theater/improv type stuff. It's mad intense.

WWL I and II... I want to keep whichever one has "all the times I had to say yes" on it, so need to google transcripts to figure out which one that is... of course, the other part will probably be the next to go with next Tuesday's VMars...
