VMars and vacation

Veronica Mars hits a huge character kink for me -- loyalty. It's the father-daughter relationship that's really doing it for me, I have to confess. "Credit Where Credit's Due" really helped define that in the voice-overs, how she chose to stand by her father instead of his detractors, and that's... hardcore character kink. Daddy issues are one of my favorite things ever, yes, and when it's relatively unconflicted, well, that's just even better, now isn't it?
My complete inability to tell male characters apart was aggravated by the squinty-vision, and I was entirely unsure which was Troy and which was Logan, and nicknamed Troy Blue-Checked Shirt Guy in my head. Hopefully he'll continue to wear the blue checked shirt for the rest of the show, else I'm screwed.
Wallace continues to be the cutest thing ever, and man, do I ever love Weevil. Because family loyalty and omg-angst over having to let his cousin go... Hardcore, baby. The ending, where he lets his friends beat up the cousin but tells one of them to stop them before it gets too rough? Broke my fucking heart omg.
As girl-and-her-posse groups go, Veronica et al is shaping up to be pretty nifty. Wallace is cute as a button and so frelling easy going liek whoa. There should really be some character development, I think. But mostly just more cuteness. I love them. I love them ALL.
I anticipate Logan's impending woobie-dom any day now...
Evidently Google feels today is Leonardo da Vinci's special day, so, er, yay! (Ah. It is his birthday. Happy birthday, Leonardo!)
I'm on vacation, so evidently I feel I'm free to spam LJ and do nothing. Soon, all my friends will be gone and I'll be all alone on a big, empty campus.
I'm confused about whether I need to mail tax stuff today (as apparently my returns were filed on teh_intraweb) or just as soon as possible, but I should probably not opt for the lazy route and just send the accountant the form with my signature on it all nice and neat. I also need to buy shampoo and some kind of junk food that won't make my mouth sore when I eat it.
I think I'll go to breakfast then watch more VMars.
