good morning

I crashed last night at ~8:30. Got back from tutoring and then just curled up dead. Set my alarm for 4:40 so I could wake up and watch TOS. Both these ideas turned out to be really excellent ideas. I got plenty of sleep, and while TOS continues to be, well, you know, frelling TOS, it was a good enough incentive for getting up, and then I got the chance to actually do my homework. I still have so much I need to do, and I'm slowly seething with panic beneath the surface, but at least I got accomplished everything I needed to for today.

I'm feeling sickish, unsurprising, since everyone on campus has caught the plague. Hopefully lots of rest and fluids will prevent me from spewing phlegm everywhere.

I'm reading Anywhere But Here, an excellent Dawn + Ethan fic, and listening to music and enjoying the contemplation of only three hours till the weekend. Life, against all odds, appears to be good at the moment.

I'm strangely amused by Sci-Fi's ad for the magazine. I don't know why I find it so funny, but I do. Perhaps it's the idea that spoilers would be a selling point. I'm considering making an icon out of it.
