obligatory new year post

wisdomeagleI'm not drunk. *stares at flist* Apparently I'm doing something wrong. Nope, no alcohol for me. Toasted with sparkling cider at midnight, am wide awake, as appear to be sleeping from around 5am to 3pm. Lovely schedule, except for the part where I have classes starting on Tuesday. Super icky.
So, 2004. I was in a happy, steady relationship for the entire year. This is a first for me and very exciting of course. Being with my girlfriend this vacation is making me giddy like a schoolgirl and madly in love. She's a wonderful, wonderful girlfriend and beautiful and funny and smart and mine and I love her to little itty bits.
2004. I survived a semester with the person living in room and then got rewarded with a single for the entirety of fall semsester. I got straight As except for one A-.
I periodically fell madly in love with Buffy, Angel, Atlantis, and Farscape, with fictional character crushes on Willow, Giles, Wesley, Weir, and Aeryn. I wrote lots of fanfic.
I did my duty and sat around for four hours and called it "jury duty."
I lived in an apartment with my girlfriend over the summer, being away from home for the entire year.
I got flowers on Valentine's Day and a rude awakening on Election Day and spent Christmas away from home for the first time in my life. I missed my parents and our Christmas tree.
Absolutely nothing surprising happened in 2004 except that the Red Sox won the World Series for the first time in 86 years. I was so happy I cried.
I don't make new year's resolutions, but in the coming year, I hope to graduate, and to find something rewarding to do when I finish college, and to continue to be in love with Gvambat, and most of all to survive.
