gratuitous plague post

So as you might have realized by now, I have the plague. Okay, okay, it's just a cold, and I'm a big whiny baby.. I'm really not doing much else except battling it. The rest of this post is cut for icky, yucky, TMI cold-y stuff.


So naturally, since I have like, twenty billion decongestants and no antihistamines, I get, for like, the first time ever, the ugly, drippy kind of cold instead of the yucky, cloggy type. So I have a drippy nose like ew, and
-no tissues
-no antihistamines
This leaves me with a hell of a lot of toilet paper swiped from the bathroom, and a very nice omnipresent cup of water to help me battle the continual ache in my throat. I can almost talk again, though. My voice is kind of raspy, but I have one! Hurrah!

I'm not really hacking up phlegm so much, either. So that's a plus. Wish I had antihistamines, though.

At least I can breathe...

I need to sleep, though... I'm not tired so much as physically exhausted, like all my joints ache and I just want a rest... I probably have a slight fever. Chills.

I hate sleeping when I have a cold... get feverish hallucinations instead of dreams. Never really feel rested afterwards.

I'm glad you can sort of talk again, kid. Being sick really, really bites. Especially when it's down-for-the-count sick.

I'm glad you don't have school this week. Just, y'know, sleep and stuff. And drink juice. :-)

Yes, I watched Dark angel, and ended up getting obsessed by it. Particularly love season 2, the character of Alec and meta about the show, because it really wasn't perfect. Write fic, ship Max/Alec, blah blah woof woof. Got my icon very recently so your icon love was very welcome!
