scary class & procrastination
Feb. 10th, 2003 10:18 pmOh, I am so rocking the Scary Class. I got a check ++ on my last paper, on a check minus, check, check plus scale. I am too cool, I really am. He said, "once again very thoughtful commentary and critical reflections." I kind of wish that I had him for my advisor instead of my current advisor. He's very philosophical. Though I think we had an argument today about progress. I am actually speaking up surprisingly often in that class; it's quite excellent of me.
I finally finished reading The Complete Sherlock Holmes, and I'm debating whether to a) reread it and find all the slashy bits that I missed the first time around or b) read a James Michener novel. Of course, I really ought to be thinking about my long-term project for astronomy, the journal I haven't been keeping for psychology, my psychology term paper, the fact that everything we're discussing in astronomy is going right over my head, or any other of a number of deeply important issues, but instead I'm going to go find a novel to read. I'm off.
My poor roommate has to write a six page paper/take-home test tonight. You don't want to know how much caffeine she has consumed.
