quick rant
Apr. 12th, 2004 08:20 amI was distracted from going to bed last night by these absolutely hilarious MSTs of S7. However... I am deeply ambivalent towards SG-1 Solutions. First, while I admire their attempts to create spoiler-free interview transcripts, one can almost always get spoiled on the main page.
Second.... well, they're hardcore. I was a strict follower of the savedanieljackson party line when I arrived in fandom: Pro-Daniel, pro-slash, anti-Jonas and anti-ship (and anti-Sam. There was a time when the fandom made me hate Sam Carter). Now, I'm more with the whatever stirs your coffee school of thought, and if Jack/Sam stirs your coffee, by all means. Just keep it away from my coffee, which I need very badly, having stayed up all night.
Now. Time to go take a final.

Well...with liberal definitions of the word "coffee" (read: canon), I'd go along with that.
:p

Well.... yeah. Further thoughts on savedanieljackson and on the msts.. funny, but the anti-Sam sentiment was really icky. It's one thing to joke about killing off Jonas, but to joke about killing a real person? Just 'cause you don't like the pairing? That's a bit harsh.
