Dec. 4th, 2003 03:44 pmI'm editing the Katherine Philips paper. It's due in three hours. Um, procrastinate? Me?
Anyhow, I really like this line:
She claims that Rosania's goodness speaks for itself, and that only her regard for Rosania has prevented her from speaking at greater length: "Love stiffles Language, and I must confesse,/I had said more, if I had loved lesse" (ll. 5-6). She then proceeds to speak on the subject for eighty-four lines.
Miss R., my blessed eighth grade English teacher, got me in the habit of trying to be clever in my English papers. Very bad habit, as most of my English teachers since then don't appreciate my sense of humor, but... Yes.
*babble*
Whee! Finished editing. *bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy*
