Feb. 27th, 2014 02:58 pmFinished: Good Omens
Current: Neverwhere
Next: Prob'ly American Gods since I own it and the changes of dragging myself to a library are slim since I am on day 4 of a wretched cold. I am going back to work this evening, which I expect will wipe me out completely.

Date: 2014-03-04 10:49 am (UTC)Not first time through -- that was a couple of decades ago -- but generally, I like Good Omens very much. Mm, some thoughts:
I like the exploration of how "good" and "evil" at some point just become names for sides, and how what Adam is is relentlessly human. It's deeply incarnational, and I think it's appropriate that they leave Jesus entirely out of it, because anything they tried to do would fall short.
Dog is the best of dogs.
