I studied for my test! Sort of! If it just covers what we talked about in class, then I think I'll be okay, so everyone cross your fingers for me.

I'm writing fanfic. *dance of joy* Of course, after going out of my way to demand plot bunnies, I was bitten by one all on my own, but it seems to be a promising one. Hello, quantum mirror. Will you be Daniel's friend? (The answer, of course, is no. Since when have quanta mirrori ever been Daniel's friends?) I may very well have written myself into a corner, but perhaps more contemplation will help me figure out what's supposed to happen.

I need to call financial aid, to figure out why I don't have a time card, and I need to call PEG, to figure out how I'm getting to the airport on Friday, and I need to remind venusinrapture that she needs to come to the airport on Friday so that we can have happy, joyful, cheerful reunions.

And oh yes. My supervisor and my bio teacher are conspiring to make me tutor environmental issues while I'm taking it. Way to force me not to sleep through class! *pouts* *but not as prettily as Daniel, because let's face it, don't NO ONE pout as prettily as Daniel does*

I had lots of caffeine tonight to ensure that I would be awake enough to study for my test, so now I'm just on this side of bitter angst. It might be yet another Cannon Hill night, but I'm not that bad yet. It's the sort of feeling that may well fuel creative energy and cause me to write the fanfic--which is titled "The Choices They Didn't Make," just for the record.

*stops babbling about fanfic for a fandom 90% of her friends' list is not involved in*

Speaking of which, I've been pondering on and off creating a separate journal for fannish rambling, fics, and rants. I've certainly got codes enough to spare, and I feel guilty about spamming the rest of you with stuff you care little about. Thoughts? Do you want my Stargate obsession off your friends' list?

LEGOLAS is the prettiest, seriously. and first of all, your fandom prettiness can't possibly beat out the prettiness of Lorien elves, and even if you do somehow lay claim to the prettiness quotient: my fandom is more handsome than your fandom! Aragorn. swoon.

Oh, well, if we're going for secondary handsomeness (and prettiness for that matter!) may I point you to Teal'c, Martouf, Orlin, and Paul Davis?

Not to mention Sam, Janet, Sha're (and her movie incarnation, Shau'ri), & Catherine (this would be the cue for those on the friendslist who know who Catherine is to call me on the reallyreally old people fetish thing.)

And your fandom doesn't have Harry Maybourne and hence is inherently less cool, though he is not exactly pretty or handsome.

I was actually contemplating creating a community for which you and I and gvambat can babble on and on about Stargate, and anyone else who wants to. What do you think?

P.S. It is impossbile to compare elven goodness and stargate goodness. The two are on the high plane of prettiness, and thus cancel eachother out.

Well, there are Stargate communities out there, not that any of them are terribly active.

I've also been contemplating asking gvambat to do a closed community or shared journal with me so we could babble to each other/post links/post fics, and in general archive all the fannish stuff we usually exchange in email. If you wanted to join us (if, of course, the girl is open to the idea), that would be lovely. (I warn you, though, that there would be rather large quantities of Jack/Maybourne goodness. :p

Would that be amenable?
