I was going to read this even before I read Kita's rec, but yes, very good. I was totally soulmateOTP about Buffy/Angel back in the early seasons when I was watching the show in first-run, and I don't tend to seek out fic about them nowadays since I feel they have changed so much since those years that they really are not the best partners for each other anymore (even though yes I have read very good and believable post-series fic with the two of them hooking up), but yes, this intensity is so true to them.
