I was totally writing it differently when I remembered vampires don't reflect, but I discovered I liked the new scene even better.
I would never have known... It surprised me and I really liked how it showed that Wesley is forced into seeing himself clearly by Angel's presence, but it's not *about* Angel or not entirely.
I usually have a hard time with giving characters fetishes but this connects so well with the fears and hang-ups we already know Wesley has. And I love stories where sex isn't easy, where people have to make bargains between what gets them off and what they're ashamed or afraid of. I've been there...
And I just love this: He holds the shoe casually but kneels like Prince Charming, sliding it neatly onto Wesley's foot
