It's been forever since I've seen Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, but the lure of Carmen/Patty is just too great! Although I must admit that when pondering this pairing, I thought Patty was slightly older than eleven. (Eleven? That's just not so! I refuse to believe it!)

Per this episode guide, Patty steals mostly American artificts, plus also an alligator.

Per here, she's eleven and "looks up to Carmen Sandiego like an aunt." *cough*

Best of all from the Wikipedia article is possibly Carmen's backstory - It's also known that the orphange Carmen Sandiego grew up in during her whole childhood was "The Golden Gates Girls' School."

*dies*

There's an awful lot more canon than I'm willing to acknowledge - I'm an old-school purist who thought Where In Time? was lamer than lame and that nothing was the same without Greg Lee, but, but, but Carmen/!eleven!Patty.

Plus, also Double Trouble! Lo, the twincest!

...I've been trying not to have this idea, but it won't leave me alone. PBS Kids Ficathon. Arthur/Buster! Shari+Fred talking religion. Double Trouble! Katzcest. Bert and Ernie, Charlie Horse and Hush Puppy, Prince Tuesday and Daniel S. Tiger, Laa Laa and Po, BJ and Baby Bop, and the financial support of viewers like you! Old obsessions die hard, my friends. Oh yes.

There was a television show? With a plot? I remember the game show (I adored the woman who played the Chief) and I had a bunch of the computer games, including a really bad PC-ripoff of Where in Time?

Also PBS Kids ficathon? So, so wrong but omg so right! Can we add Zoobilee Zoo, and Square One TV so I can try to write Mathnet fic?? Except I'm not sure I'll be able to remember the names of the characters!

That was the one - with Lynne Thigpen! I don't remember a Patty, though.

If you could put off the PBS Kidficathon until after April, though? Because of Remix and femslash06 and wingswing?

There was a Saturday morning cartoon show version. I think that's the one I remember. I watched the weekday afternoon gameshow on occasion but had no real attachment to it (geography has never been my thing, though I did enjoy the low-tech computer game I got play in middle school when I finished my computer class work early) but I really enjoy the Saturday morning cartoon show 'cause it had plot.

My favourite memory of the gameshow version was when they completely stuffed up a question that involved Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guniea, and didn't show a single option with the correct bits of the map coloured in. (Tasmania became New Zealand, New Zealand was added into Australia, and they highlighted the whole landmass of New Guniea, instead of the eastern half which is PNG.)

Oh, and dude, so much Mathnet/Square One love! (Which is kinda funny 'cause math has never held particular interest for me, and I was too young to get the Dragnet references, but . . . Mathnet!)

I'm too young to get the Dragnet references too, and I was never a math person either. But I *adored* Mathnet. Especially the multi-part Mathnet-in-New York episodes.
