I hear from the ever-reliable flist that it are the birthday of Our Little Red Girl! May it be a delightful one and full of gleeeeeee!

Additionally, you guys are all toosupercute re: Kirk/Spock. I ♥ you all. But way more do I love Gene Roddenberry's complete inability to keep the slash out of his writing. "Blah blah blah THEY WERE BEST FRIENDS and thus Kirk was very sad that Spock was ignoring him since they had the best friendship in the entire world, even better than when Spock went into heat every seven years. But he couldn't think about personal stuff like that right now since there was a disaster to avert." I am paraphrasing but I swear I have not changed the meaning at all!

Now! *flexes fingers* To add yet more people to the NaNo filter. (Ask me why I didn't just dump the whole flist into this super top secret filter. Go ahead, ask.)

beta request (no, seriously)

I have now two ficathon fics that need to be beta'd:

1. Wes/Giles or possibly Wes & Giles, G or PG, about 2000 words.

2. Wesley/Fred/Lilah, about 1700 words, S5, PWP, very much NC-17.

I would give them each a once-over before sending them along but for #1 would like someone to help me figure out how pastede on the 'ship really is, and for #2 just a standard grammar beta, basically -- the 'thon runner requires beta readers.

ETA to make public and announce that the fics are finished and posted and no longer need betas.
