If there was ever a character who deserves a fresh start, it's Wesley Wyndam-Pryce. Wesley has long stuck with people who have been ultimately destructive influences: the Council, his father, Angel. What if Wesley had the strength (or weakness) to leave them all behind and start a new life? What if he left Los Angeles? In season 5? In season 3? What if he left Sunnydale and never made it LA at all? What if he survived the series finale and left for parts unknown?

20weeks

This is a challenge community for fans of the Joss Whedon show Firefly who are eagerly awaiting the September 30 release of the movie Serenity. Beginning on May 13, a new challenge will be issued every two weeks. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create a fanwork of some kind -- a wallpaper, a vid, a ficlet, a filk, a full-stage musical production -- every two weeks, exploring each of Firefly's ten characters.

It's up to you which character you write/draw/manip/sing about for each challenge, but by the end of twenty weeks, your goal is to have looked at each character in turn.
