So like I said, who'd a thunk it? Jack/Daniel and Daniel/Sam are going to be canon and it doesn't even read like a soap opera. I for one am quite pleased. ;)

This has been one of the best mornings ever. It was filled with good feelings.

1) The feeling you get when after playing with a graphics editor all night, you make an icon you really love, an icon you adore, an icon so sexy you want to have its babies, and you just sit there and stare at it. This feeling is best described as "happy, accomplished, creative, artistic."

2) The feeling you get when you decide, on a whim, to check your grade in a class right before you take the final, which has you worried. And you find out the grade, as of the last time he calculated grades, is a 99. This feeling is best described as "Pleasantly shocked, confident."

3) The feeling that you get when you flirt (in an alternate universe where "flirt" means "to talk to and maybe smile at when you don't have to") the physics professor simply because she is the physics professor and thus reminds you of your girlfriend. This feeling is best described as "mildly sexy, happy, loving, bouncy."

4) The feeling you get when you take out your exam, look at the questions, and realize, "HEY! These are the questions I studied from last night! They were on the first three tests!" This feeling is best described as "All right!"

5) The feeling you get when, five minutes after you hand it in, you realize you have just taken your last exam and the semester is over, over, over! This feeling is best described as "Very, very relieved."

6) The feeling you get when you go to the post office and discover you have a package from the person you love most in the world. This feeling is best described as "surprised, loved, cared-for, cherished, blessed beyond measure."

Other than being done with exams, today was pretty non-productive. I have a long list of things I promised myself I could do as soon as I finished exams and now I'm not doing them.

But winter break, baby. Winter break. Thank heaven for small mercies.
