I'd like to state a rather unpopular position. I like test days. No, really, I do. I don't like studying for tests, I don't especially care for taking tests (though I'd rather do that than sit through a lecture or, God help me, work on a group project) but I like test days. I finish the test early, get out of class, and hey, would you look at that--almost an extra hour to do whatever I want to.

OH MY GOD! I made a friend.

Me: So what's your major?
Her: Asian studies. I'll probably end up teaching English to Japanese students, but I really want to be a voice actor.
Me: For anime?
Her: Yeah.
Me: What anime do you watch?
Her: *lists anime*
Me: I'm more into sci-fi, myself.
Her: Really? Stargate...?
Me: OH MY GOD! STARGATE
Us: STARGATE! *mad squeeing and hugging ensues*
talk, talk, talk.
Me: Well, I did see Yami no Matsuei.
Her: You like yaoi?
Me: Yeah.
Her: OH MY GOD!
Us: SQUEE!
So yes.

I MADE A FRIEND! And she likes Stargate and slash and yaoi and anime and Farscape and she's showing me Gravitation this weekend!

*has heart attack*

And she's a roommate-clone. She has pins on her keychain, and the first words she says when she walks into the room? "It's hot in here, isn't it?"
