it's only deadwood anyhow

Well, I went to the dentist's and got a shot of novacaine and then Dr. L drilled holes in my teeth and filled them with silver. So now I have even MORE fillings, just like I need, right? I also got my prescription for the nasty flouride toothpaste filled. I don't want holes in my teeth but I wish it were easier to keep them healthy. I HATE flouride. Stuff tastes nasty. The shot finally wore off so I have feeling in the left side of my mouth again. Before I kept on biting my tongue because I couldn't feel it. It was kinda funny.

We undecorated the Christmas tree today. Now we have a large, naked Christmas tree in our living room, along with several boxes of ornaments. It's been decided that I have enough ornaments for a starter tree (maybe 6 ft) when I get out on my own. Cool. Having a large collection of ornaments is important.

My dad gave me a haircut last night. My hair is now considerably shorter... I'm not sure if I like it, but that's okay... it's only hair, and it'll grow back, and the important function of any haircut is to illict as much positive commentary as possible ANYhow, so hopefully it will fulfill that function.

This time tomorrow I'll be on an Acela Express, speeding towards Charlottesvile VA.
