Yeah, so this sounded like a good idea. I think. Maybe. Here goes.
divagypsy has been posting writing timelines, so... yes. Hello, term paper that will get written tonight.
10:26 pm: So far, I have procrastinated mightily by making an icon celebrating the Farscape miniseries and by playing on LJ for half an hour. I have three papers to write. I think I shall start with the easiest, my religion paper.
10:54 pm: I've written all but one section of the paper. (Sometimes, starting two months early is useful!) I'm actually *gasp* making a point. I think I sort of ignored the point of the assignment, but hell, I cited four sources and I actually read the corresponding books of the Bible. Um, taking a quick break to check email and LJ, then will finish paper.
11:08 pm: LiveJournal is far too useful for distraction. Back to writing the paper.
11:28 pm: And lo! It is finished. Word count: 2,647 words, including header and bibliography. Eight pages. Title? "A Comparison of Gender Relationships in Hosea and Song of Songs." It still needs and edit and an appeal to the handbook of style so I can figure out whether I did my headings wrong. Or, rather, how incorrectly I formatted my headings. But now, I think I deserve a break. (Oh, look, whee, it took me about an hour to finish. This does not bode well for the twenty pager.)
11:51. I should really do some more work on the papers, shouldn't I, given how much caffeine I drank. Okay. *meanders off to write bio paper*
11:55. Frell that. I have to write four to six pages? *panic* *goes off to take shower*
12:15. Took shower. Had panic attack related to stream-of-consciousness thoughts, luggage, my now officially dead backpack, and the suddenly very short amount of time I have to get from one terminal to another in Cincinnati. Suddenly remembered why I'm not allowed to drink caffeine at 8:30.
12:27. Did nothing. Except panic. I think the productive hours of the night might be exhausted. As am I. Maybe I can sleep tonight. Oh, please, God, let me sleep.
