yhlee asked, "If Kristy Thomas, Jo March, and Daniel Jackson went on a camping trip together, what kind of campfire stories would they tell each other?"
Yoon, that is a FABULOUS QUESTION and the BEST CAMPING TRIP EVER. Two tomboys and alesbian archeologist. They all have fabulous fascinating stories to tell, because Jo is a ~writer~ and would tell neat little stories about camping trips of yore and the pranks and shenanigans that her students got up to, with little morals at the end of all of them. And Daniel would tell stories about how aliens actually built the pyramids, which is TOTALLY TRUFAX. And Kristy would tell stories about her kids (baby-sitting charges) that would not have neat little morals, and she and Jo would exchange lots of adorable kid-stories and then Daniel would conveniently go navigate by starlight or something to get them unlost and Kristy and Jo would have sex. Whee!

lunabee34 told me, "Severus Snape and Ann M. Martin are auditioning for the Rockettes. How do they train? Who wins?"
Lorraine, this is the meanest scenario ever! I can't do it! I can't even decide which one of them would less rather be a Rockette. They are possibly the two characters with the biggest humiliations squicks EVAR. Snape is super-dignified and hates to be objectified, and Ann has the worst case of stage fright of anyone I know of. I suppose their love interests (whom I will call "Paula" and "Lily Potter" for convenience) might make them do it as a dare/bet/etc -- this is so in character for Paula, less so for Lily, or in fact for anyone I can see partnering with Snape but... it would just be so mean. Ann would finally convince Paula that, no, really, she's not just playing shy, this is really embarrassing, and being up on stage dancing in a short skirt is her worst nightmare, and Paula would apologize profusely and they'd have make-up sex.
I can sort of imagine Lupin suggesting it to Snape, i.e.,:
"Severus, you have gorgeous legs. You should become a Rockette!"
"... I am going to pretend I didn't hear that."
And that would be the end of that.
+Lorraine also asked, "Maggie Blume and Daniel Jackson are BFF. Have been always. But Maggie starts seriously dating and Daniel realizes how much he needs Maggie. What happens next?
So I'm just gonna go with this one! Maggie and Daniel are best friends! Okay! Well, Maggie starts to date seriously toward the end of the series, and she's become a little more light-hearted and maybe less inclined to talk about Serious Issues, although she's still a great friend and always makes time for Daniel, but he feels sort of... third-wheelish, a feeling he's very familiar with.So he gets himself dead with radiation poisoning, as good heroes do. So maybe at this point Daniel leaves California to pursue a career, feeling that his social network has fallen apart on him. And maybe later when Maggie grows up some she contacts Daniel again, but he has all ~super-secret-government-work~ and they don't really reconnect. ::emo tear::

astrogirl2 asked, "Hobbes writes his autobiography. What is it called? How much of it is actually true? And what kind of review does Tara Maclay give it?"
Hahahahaha! How I Saved Calvin From His Terrifying Exploits. And although much of it iscompletely made up lies fabricated, it's slightly truer than Calvin's version.
I think Tara, like the rest of us, would be so pleased with new Calvin and Hobbes canon coming fromWatterson Hobbes that she'd give it a gold star just for existing. :D
+Again for
astrogirl2 "Mary Magdalene discovers fanfic shipping her with Fred Burkle. How does she react?"
... She sends me links, please?
+And finally
astrogirl12 suggests, "Kristy Thomas and Demi Brooke are trapped in an elevator together. What happens?"
I like this when Demi is young, maybe around the time John Brook Sr. dies, and he's very closed-off and sad about it, and Kristy kind of talks around it about other things -- like maybe sports and how she thinks Demi should go out for the Krushers -- and eventually they come around to Fathers and Responsibility and Kristy is really enormously helpful because she is the BEST BABY-SITTER EVER.

mari4212 suggests my favorite party game for fictional characters to play! "Maggie Blume, Ann M. Martin, Matilda Wormwood, and Jane Marple are playing Truth or Dare. Who always picks truth, who always picks dare, who is unembarrassed no matter what, who blushes at the drop of a hat, who falls asleep half-way through the game, and who runs around the block in her underwear at one in the morning?"
So, why has no one written fanfic with these four hanging out and playing Truth or Dare? Seriously! Clearly, Matilda is the only one with a drop of Gryffindor in her blood (okay, okay, Miss Marple has a little, and Maggie is developing hers, but movieverse Matilda is almost pure Gryff), so she always picks Dare. I can see Maggie and Ann both having secrets they don't want to come out, but Miss Marple has nothing to hide (and is a big fan of Truth in general). Likewise, I think Miss Marple is unembarrassable, since she already knows everything anyhow. Miss Marple also dozes off first, even though it's a very interesting game, because old ladies do need more sleep than they used to.
Let's have Maggie do the half-drunk on spirits and caffeine and party fever nudity, 'cos there are certain characterizations of Maggie (coff BSCverse coff) who totally would, and I can see a high school Maggie letting loose some of the perfectionist goody-two-shoes-ness of middle school in the right company (which is apparently a crime-solving old lady, a genius kindergartner, and... Maggie's author).
+Another question from
mari4212: "
Anne Shirley and Dar Williams are set up on a blind date by Severus Snape. Where do they go, and what happens while they're on it?"
...
I am choosing to believe that Snape's only contribution to this OTP was to accidentally enable some convenient time travel. So Anne comes forward to the 21st century and ends up backstage at one of Dar's performances and is terribly shy and embarrassed until Dar comes backstage after her set and is totally reassuring and kind, and then they go get coffee, which makes Anne talkative, and by the end of the evening they are bosom friends, and since their husbands are ~handwavy~ they end the date with a kiss. And then Anne sleeps in the trailer with Dar and eventually one thing leads to another, and there is OTP!
+And finally for Mari, "Who would Jo March admire the most on this list?"
Huh! This is a really cool question. My choices are Kristy, Demi, or Ann M. Martin. Demi is in her universe, and I think she does admire him, but then, he was kind of designed to succeed morally in their shared universe. I think if Jo had a magic looking glass, she would be Kristy or Ann -- she's closer in personality to Kristy, but that might mean Jo doesn't admire her quite as much as she does Ann, who's got that Beth-like serenity that's so impossible for Jo to achieve. And she's succeeded in Jo's chosen career.

vassilissa asks what would happen if, "Daniel Jackson, Tara Maclay, Fred Burkle, and Jane Marple form a band. Who plays what instruments, and what are their songs like?"
Elena, I had two canonical musicians on this list! Alas, you chose neither of them. I bet Daniel has done some playing of local instruments on digs, which probably means percussion, so let's put Daniel on drums. Jane Marple had a classical education so can probably at least pick out a tune on the piano. Tara can sing, and Fred can be the sound guy. I can see any of them writing songs, except maybe Miss Marple, and I think Fred + Tara + Daniel would write awesome, layered lyrics with lots of brilliant sciency metaphors. Aww.
+
ravenlore asks, "Anne Shirley is obsessing about something, Maggie Blume stages an intervention along with Daniel Jackson and Ann M. Martin. What's the obsession and what's the intervention?"
Clearly, Anne is obsessing about Dar Williams, as we saw above. They had a bad breakup (waaah) and Anne is heartbroken. Maggie takes her to a ton of Vanish rehearsals and gigs to try to a) get her interested in rockier modern music and b) get her to rock out and have fun. She may even do a little matchmaking with her Best Friend Forever Daniel (see above), and Daniel and Anne would have very interesting conversations although they wouldn't hit it off romantically. And then they all play Truth or Dare with Ann M. Martin and Jane Marple and Matilda.

glitterberrys tells me that, "Hobbes choreographs an interpretive dance. describe it in detail."
I love that the questions that are closest to canon are the ones involving Hobbes. But yes. Totally. There is a three-hour-long interpretive dance version of How I Saved Calvin From His Terrifying Exploits. The dancer will wear a look of awesome fear with mouth open like this :-O when being Calvin, and then parade triumphantly onto stage, tail writhing, lunge forward in a dashing manner and land on two feet, hands over head, when being Hobbes. Over. And over. And over. And over.
