wisdomeagle: (character death)
First: I saw a license plate today that said "TEA 420." My dislike of drug culture is outweighed by my love of wordplay. :)

books
Finished Uglies, read Pretties, started Specials. (All rereads).

Thought briefly about the idea of wilderness/beyond/outside the city/community/dystopia in The Giver, Gathering Blue, Hunger Games, and the Uglies series, mostly because I want Our Heroes to encounter each other in that undefined Outside space, but that's not actually a plotbunny so much as a concept, and, generally speaking, if I'm not interested in Our Heroes having sex, I'm not interested in writing about them.

Next: Rest of Specials, and maybe will actually get all the way through Extras this time.

Games
Some more Spider Solitaire and about fifty hands of FreeCell.

I started watching an Assassin's Creed Let's Play but then lost interest.

exercise
(not exactly in the spirit of "reading Wednesday," but let's be real, "reading Wednesday" is also "I swear this social media platform isn't dead Wednesday.")
for possible triggers//really vague and imprecise numbers )

other

Stood in solidarity with striking fast food workers last Thursday.

This has been an embarrassingly unproductive culture consumed Wednesday
wisdomeagle: (joy for ordinary time)
Completely missed in "culture consumed:" have queued literally thousands of tracks of Christian music -- hymns, liturgical music, etc. -- on Spotify. A big bunch of the Gather hymnal, John Michael Talbot, Taizé, Marty Haugen, David Haas.

I'm consuming this in such a way that I'm not properly appreciating individual pieces -- mostly it is background music -- but it is enjoyable and I think it's overall improving the quality of my life.

Next: 5304 more of the same.
